Some of the time you probably will not. Therapy involves having
a lot of uncomfortable feelings. It will not surprise or disturb your therapist
if you find you have strong feelings about them - good or bad. In psychotherapy
these difficult feelings can be expressed, then thought about and gradually
understood and as a result become more manageable.
If, however, after a good period of time, things seem to be
badly wrong and a serious attempt has been made to understand what is going on
between you, it may be appropriate to consider changing your therapist.
