Welcome to APEL

What is APEL?

APEL is The Association for Psychotherapy in East London.

We are a group of psychoanalytic psychotherapists from various training backgrounds. We offer private individual  psychotherapy  in the East London and Essex areas.

We also offer psychoanalytic supervision or consultations to professional colleagues and trainees.

The Association was founded in 1988 to provide a point of contact for referrers and individuals looking for private therapy and supervision.

In 1996 the APEL Charitable Trust was set up. [Reg Charity No. 1052691] It provides grants (subject to availability) towards the cost of a year of once weekly therapy for people in East London on low incomes.
